Yes, it’s those “Brazos Valley Boys!” The band founded seventy-five years ago by Hank Thompson and, since his passing in 2007, headed up by Morey Sullivan. The pedigree of that opening sentence tells you the quality of the product you will find here.
This is sheer Western Swing art with a perfect mix of the boot scooters’ favorite tempos, placed in the ideal ratio of fast to slow.
