Review by Miquel Batlle Garriga
Hey, buddies!
More new music for lovers of REAL COUNTRY!
Released on September 18, 2026, Better Off in Time & Other Songs for the Dance Floor is the latest album from Sean Burns & Lost Country. The title gives us a pretty good idea of what’s in store: a record made to recapture the spirit of those legendary dance halls, where honky-tonk was king, couples filled the floor, and country music was a way of life.
Recorded at No Fun Club in Winnipeg, Canada, this is an album with no frills, no unnecessary experiments, and the traditional country sound we love so much. A 100% COUNTRY album—pure honky-tonk.
So grab your partner, find a spot on the dance floor, and give that hardwood a workout! Because when REAL COUNTRY MUSIC starts playing, nobody can stay in their seat!
Enjoy it & keep it country!
